CLEVELAND – May 17, 2021 – Taylor Oswald, a local risk management firm and partner organization with Oswald Companies, is celebrating ten years of service from its Cleveland-based office, located at 1100 Superior Avenue and serving all of Ohio and Detroit, Michigan.
Taylor Oswald was established in 2011 as a minority business enterprise, and as a critical initiative in the insurance industry. The firm is committed to providing innovative solutions that contribute its clients’ successes in today’s changing world.
In addition, the partnership was formed to develop a path for minority professionals to establish their insurance careers in a meaningful and rewarding manner. Eddie Taylor, an established civic leader in Northeast Ohio, led this endeavor along with the principals at Oswald Companies. Together, Taylor Oswald and Oswald Companies continue to promote growth opportunities for the benefit of its employees and clients in the insurance brokerage industry.
The firm has added several new employees to their local team, in addition to bolstering its’ Cincinnati presence with sales resources a few years ago. The company continues to build on its presence in Detroit as well. Future plans include the continued expansion of Taylor Oswald in other Oswald major markets, including Columbus and throughout Michigan.
In January 2020, Taylor Oswald expanded its Cleveland footprint with the opening of new offices to accommodate the firm’s current and future growth. Additionally, the company continues to focus largely on its overall risk management activities with particular emphasis on supplier diversity for large companies, expansion into the municipality/government sector and the industries in which it has historical expertise in – construction, education, non-profit and the health care fields.
